Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and controls the result. Miller County Criminal History does not keep its own log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is not disclosed outside the organization unless the law requires that disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically

Miller County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Miller County Sheriff, Circuit Court, Missouri State Highway Patrol repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their own privacy terms, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to any data entered there. Review the provider's policy before submitting information because this policy does not govern the partner's processing.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to courts, sheriff resources, state agencies, legal services, and outside tools. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read those terms before sending personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be processed by:

The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Data identified as belonging to a minor will be removed.

Applicable Missouri privacy and consumer-protection rules may provide additional rights. The Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, governs records held by public bodies, while §43.500 RSMo defines terms used for state criminal-history dissemination. For data maintained by this private site, you can:
